Rouzie Hassanova

Rouzie oversees the company’s projects, managing Libertine’s development and production slate, working with new and established talent and our production partners.

She is a creative leader with extensive experience in international film licensing and distribution, development, production and post production. Born and raised in Bulgaria, Rouzie's industry career began twenty years ago at Prime Focus post production house in London. Subsequently, she was a Sales Manager for HanWay Films and Vice President, International Licensing and Distribution for Mister Smith Entertainment. Since moving to New Zealand with her family, Rouzie has worked as a Drama Development Producer at Great Southern TV and Development Executive at the New Zealand Film Commission.

She has written and directed a number of award-winning shorts and her debut feature film Radiogram has screened at over fifteen international film festivals and won three awards.
