As Head of Development Emily manages the development slate with responsibility for finding and nurturing new talent and ideas. She is also the co-producer on Libertine Pictures’ most recent feature Daffodils, which will be released early in 2019. 

Emily also works as a script consultant, including on productions Belief: the Possession of Janet Moses and Berlin Syndrome

Prior to returning to New Zealand in 2010, Emily was based in London where she was an executive at the New Cinema Fund of the UK Film Council.  She was responsible for a diverse slate of projects including the BAFTA-nominated films Submarine and The Arbor, as well as working on Chatroom and Tyrannosaur. Emily was involved in the set-up of the low budget film studio Warp X, and overseeing the feature films produced through this initiative, including A Complete History of My Sexual FailureDonkey Punch, and Bunny and the Bull. In addition she managed the UKFC’s short film programme, and set-up training programmes.

Emily has also worked as a freelance script editor and assessor, at MTV Networks and at Creative New Zealand.
