Mystic a finalist in New Zealand Television Awards
Finalist for Best Children's Programme; Best Cinematography

Series 1 of Mystic has been selected as a finalist in the 2021 New Zealand Television Awards in two categories. The show is a finalist for the NZ on Air Best Children’s Programme Awards, and Dave Cameron is a finalist for Best Cinematography: Drama.
Based on Stacy Gregg’s ‘Pony Club Secrets’ series, Mystic is a family eco-thriller blending adventure and humour as it follows teenager Issie Brown and her horseriding friends. It is produced for CBBC in the UK and TVNZ in New Zealand, and has been sold to more than 45 territories including Australia, Canada, France and Germany.
Series 1 aired in the UK and New Zealand in 2020. Series 2 was premiered on BBC iPlayer in November 2021, ahead of its broadcast on CBBC TV and TVNZ early in 2022. Series 3 will begin shooting in Auckland January.
